i really like your execution. The way her face is never shown is a really good tactic, along with that faded blur transition and the ominous pacing running her fingers along the bus, awesome.
The color gave it an older feel. I really liked the ending shot of the bus door closing. All of the shots were very well done and thoughtfully put together.
I thought your location choice was really interesting. The desaturated old timey effect looked really good with your shots, and your framing all worked really well.
i'm not exactly sure if this depicted jaded but this was a well done video. Clean edits nice sepia tone. I really enjoy that you don't really see the girl's face. Personally the ring seemed out of no where. Still a very good film.
I thoroughly enjoyed this conceptual piece. I think you conveyed an emotion well but the story you told so minimally could be explored in something like your narrative piece.
There are lots of strong elements loaded in this video. The tone, rhythm, movement, location, framing and closing shot all strengthen the mood and emotion. The one exception here is the ring. I like that it's in the bus but it is too disconnected from the character. I believe you might be saying she is jaded to love or jaded because of a relationship. Perhaps a stronger connection could be made if we see her hold the ring and then choose to leave it behind.
This was really good, I felt the sadness, I liked the sepia f=effect and I liked how you used a buss, as well as how we never saw her face
ReplyDeleteI liked the sepia tone you chose. It helped get your point across. I also loved the ending how you ended it with the closing of the doors.
ReplyDeleteNICE. Really emotive. Great music choice. Concise.
ReplyDeleteThe coloring really helps set a more somber tone to this video, nice work!
ReplyDeleteNice imagery and feel. I like the black and white shots of the bus.
ReplyDeleteI liked how there is a brown tone throughout the whole video and the shots are really good.
ReplyDeleteI like the concept of your video and I also like that you really don't see her face in the shots you took.
ReplyDeleteI liked the door closing at the end it was a good sign the video was ending. I really liked the music and the shot of the ring zooming in. nice video

ReplyDeletePowerful and ominous. Works well in sepia as opposed to color.
